ARRL Field Day

Field Day is amateur radio's largest annual operating event — held the fourth weekend of June each year — combining emergency preparedness practice with friendly competition. Operators set up portable stations, often on battery or generator power, and make as many contacts as possible across HF bands in 24 hours. This section documents K5ANM Field Day participation including station configurations, operating strategies, band conditions, contact totals, and lessons learned from both club-organized and solo efforts.
